LONESOME CIRCELS
Lonesome Circles is an independent dance performance about a
lonely and desperate young girls who injures themselves helplessly in a
repetitive circle of self harm.
The show deals with the subjects of womanhood, identification,
loneliness, youth, dizziness and disorientation.
with intense physical work, as well as a complex and sensitive
relationship between the choreographer and the performing dancer,
the difficulties of this young girl are woven.
The mental experiences that the body goes through- the body's
execution of those difficulties, and its attempt to shake off those
difficultiesIn self-expression.
All this happens in an isolated space and stage - in which there is
nothing - no communication with the environment and other people.
The show premiered in The Mill Theater, Sha’ar Ha’amakim, Israel.
