Central Station

Through dark humor, theatricality, and choreography, I have spent months trying to approach things whose existence in my world I struggle to accept. The work deals with the impact that childhood and adult traumas create, and the challenging attempt to find escapism and grounding within a state of chaos, rupture, and longing.






















The piece is influenced by figures who tend to be pushed to the margins of society—sex workers, drug users, and the Central Bus Station in Tel Aviv, a very dark and shadowy place where the systems of law and police do not intervene in the underground world taking place there. It is a glimpse into lives that unfold beneath the surface, in an honest and unapologetic way.
